Coolant Thermostat, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:
- Replace the O-rings.
-- Clean and smooth the O-ring sealing surface.
-- Coat the new O-ring with coolant.
-- Place the coolant thermostat -2- in the coolant thermostat housing.
- The retaining tabs must engage in the guides in direction of -arrows-.
-- Install the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-. Refer to THROTTLE VALVE CONTROL MODULE -J338-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
- The coolant system must be bled using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester after filling.
-- Fill and bleed the coolant circuit. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING WITHOUT COOLING SYSTEM CHARGE KIT - ELECTRIC VACUUM PUMP:VAS6096/2 .
