Right Flange Shaft, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With All Wheel Drive: Removing

NOTE:

Observe general notes. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .

General repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL REPAIR INFORMATION .

-- Vehicles with a TFSI engine: Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the right drive axle heat shield.

-- Remove the right drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the : SMN372500 under the transmission.

-- Remove right flange shaft bolt with : T10107A by installing two screws in flange and counter holding flange shaft with assembly lever.

-- Attach the : T10037 as shown in the illustration, to the right flange shaft.

-- Align : T10037 with : T10037/1 and the spindle -A- parallel to the flange.

-- Remove flange shaft.
