- Installed location A4 Sedan, A5 coup and A5 Cabriolet, refer to Fig 2
- Installed location A4 Avant, refer to Fig 3
- Installed location A5 Sportback, refer to Fig 4
- Installed location A6 and A7, refer to Fig 5
- Installed location A8, refer to Fig 6
- Removing and installing, refer to AWD CONTROL MODULE -J492- .
- Additional work after replacing the control module. Refer to ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING ALL WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL MODULE -J492- .
- Important signals from Engine Control Module (ECM) and ABS Control Module -J104- are transmitted via the Data bus to the All Wheel Drive Control Module --.
ABS Control Module -J104-
- Installed location, removing and installing, refer to ABS CONTROL MODULE -J104- /ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT -N55-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Data Link Connector (DLC)
- Installed location: Driver side footwell, refer to Fig 7
- Vehicle diagnostic tester, connecting and selecting functions
Hydraulic Control Unit
- Installed location: on rear final drive
- Removing and installing, refer to ALL WHEEL DRIVE PUMP -V415-, 0BE, 0BF
- Disassembling and assembling, refer to HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT, 0BE, 0BF
- Hydraulic control unit with:
  - All Wheel Drive Pump -V415-, refer to ALL WHEEL DRIVE PUMP -V415-, 0BE, 0BF .
  - Oil Pressure/Temperature Sensor 2 -G640-, refer to OIL PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G437- OR OIL PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 -G640-, 0BE, 0BF .
  - Oil Pressure/Temperature Sensor -G437-, refer to OIL PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G437- OR OIL PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 -G640-, 0BE, 0BF .
  - All Wheel Drive Clutch Valve 2 -N446-, refer to ALL WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH VALVE -N445- OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH VALVE 2 -N446-, 0BE, 0BF .
