Vibration Damper

Removing

-- Remove ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the right noise insulation -arrows-.

-- Remove the noise insulation frame -arrow- and the rear noise insulation. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the vibration damper bolts while counterholding it with an open end wrench.

Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

NOTE:

Replace the vibration damper bolts.

Only possible to install in one position: The vibration damper crankshaft hole -arrow- must be positioned over the protrusion on the toothed belt sprocket.

-- Install the noise insulation frame and the noise insulation. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER .
