Cylinder Head Cover

Removing

-- Remove intake manifold. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and lay aside fuel line bracket.

-- Remove electrical wiring bracket from upper timing chain cover.

-- Loosen cylinder head cover bolts in -11 to 1- sequence.

-- Remove bolts and remove cylinder head cover.

Remove bolts -arrows- and lay aside fuel line bracket

Tightening specifications, refer to CYLINDER HEAD AND CYLINDER HEAD COVER ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW , Figure

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

NOTE:

Replace cylinder head cover seals and bolts if damaged.

-- Tighten cylinder head cover bolts. Refer to Figure.

-- Install intake manifold. Refer to Removal and Installation .
