Crankshaft Seal, Belt Pulley Side: Removing

-- Remove ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Toothed belt, removing. Refer to TOOTHED BELT DRIVE, WITHOUT DIVIDED TOOTHED BELT GUARD OVERVIEW .

-- Loosen crankshaft toothed belt gear. To do this, lock toothed belt sprocket with the 3415.

-- Remove the crankshaft-toothed belt sprocket center bolt -1- -2- and remove the toothed belt sprocket.

-- Remove diamond disc -3- from toothed belt gear.

-- To guide seal puller, thread center bolt into crankshaft by hand until stop.

-- Unscrew inner part of the 3203 nine rotations (approximately 20 mm) from outer part and secure with knurled-head bolt.

-- Lubricate threaded head of the 3203, position and forcefully screw into seal as far as possible.

-- Loosen knurled screw and turn inner portion against crankshaft until the seal is pulled out.

-- Secure the seal remover in a vise at the flat spots. Remove seal using pliers
