Rear seat side padding, removing and installing: Notes

1 - Side upholstery

Removal:

Remove rear seat bench: Vehicles through 10.04 → Seatbench, removing and installing - vehicles up to 10.04 , vehicles from 11.04 → Seatbench, removing and installing - vehicles from 11.04 .
Remove bolt - 6 -.
Disconnect cable connectors for vehicles with side airbag Side airbag connector, disconnecting .
Remove nut - 4 -.

Remove latch bolt - 5 - with washer - 3 - and dished washer - 2 -.

Installing:

Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Insert latch bolt - 5 - and tighten nut - 4 -.

NOTE:

After connecting battery, vehicle options (radio, clock, electrical window regulator, etc.) must be checked →
- 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL
- 27 - BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL for ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT - GENERAL INFORMATION

If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction, DTC memory must be erased and then checked again using the Diagnostic Operation System VAS 5051 A.

2 - Dished washer

3 - Window

4 - Nut

Tightening torque: 55 Nm.

5 - Striker pin

6 - Screw

Tightening torque: 10 Nm.
