Radiator And Fan Shroud: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN OVERVIEW .

NOTE:

If there are small impressions on the fins, refer to COOLERS AND CONDENSERS .

-- Install the air duct on the air filter housing intermediate flange. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Vehicles with S-Tronic transmission 0B5: Tighten the ATF pipes. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the front charge air cooling circuit radiator. Refer to FRONT CHARGE AIR COOLING CIRCUIT RADIATOR .

-- Audi A4: Install the headlamp housing mount. Refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install condenser. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant, refer to FILLING .

NOTE:

All of the coolant must be changed if the radiator was replaced.

-- Vehicles with S-Tronic transmission 0B5: Check the ATF level. Refer to General Information .
