Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 4.2L FSI Engine: Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer To OVERVIEW - STARTER .

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

-- Make Sure The Seal -1- Fits Correctly Inside The Starter Opening Before Installing The Starter.

The Sealing Piece Must Cover The Opening For The Starter -2- -arrow-.

-- Install The Engine Mount And Right Engine Support. Refer To RIGHT ENGINE MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR TRANSMISSION(S) 0B6] [FOR ENGINE(S) CAUA] .

-- Install The Secondary Air Injection Pipe. Refer To SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEM [FOR ENGINE(S) CALA] , SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEM [FOR TRANSMISSION(S) 0B6] [FOR ENGINE(S) CAUA] and install the right catalytic converter. Refer To CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - [FOR ENGINE CODES : CABB, CABA, CABD, CAEA, CAEB, CDHB, CDNB, CDNC, CDHA, CDZA, CADA, CCUA, CFKA, CPMA, CAED, CPMB] , CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CAED, CAEB, CPMB, CPMA] , EMISSIONS CONTROL [FOR ENGINE(S) CALA] , CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR TRANSMISSION(S) 0B6] [FOR ENGINE(S) CAUA] .

-- Install The Generator. Refer To GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 4.2L FSI ENGINE .

-- Connect The Battery. Required Actions. Refer To CONNECTING .
