-- Remove the engine cover -1- upward -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the camshaft adjustment valve 1.

Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1:

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the exhaust camshaft adjustment valve 1.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to CYLINDER HEAD COVER AND CYLINDER HEAD OVERVIEW .

NOTE:

Replace the O-ring.

Clean the camshaft adjustment valve as well as the mount in the cylinder head free of dirt and contaminants.

-- Coat the new O-ring with engine oil.
