Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-, From 06.08

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to CONTACT CORROSION .

Removing

-- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" of the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

-- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-- Remove the 5-plug relay carrier. Refer to 5-PLUG RELAY CARRIER, FROM 06.08 .

-- Disconnect electrical connectors -2 through 4-.

-- To disconnect electrical connector, press catch -1-, turn retaining bracket in -direction of arrow- and remove connector.

-- Release retaining springs -arrows- and remove Vehicle electrical system control module -1- from the base mount.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the 5-plug relay carrier. Refer to 5-PLUG RELAY CARRIER, FROM 06.08 .
