5-Plug Relay Carrier, From 06.08

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to CONTACT CORROSION .

Removing

-- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-- Remove driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers in Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the footwell air channel on the driver side. Refer to Knee Airbag, Servicing in Removal and Installation (Driver Knee Airbag).

-- Open the tab -3- with a screwdriver -4- and remove the 5-plug relay carrier -2- on the Vehicle electrical system control module -J519- -1-.

-- Unclip fuse panel on relay carrier.

-- Detach relays and control modules and then unclip appropriate relay carrier.

NOTE:

Check the exact assignment of 5-pin relay carrier in the current wiring diagram. Refer to Wiring Diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the footwell air channel on the driver side. Refer to Knee Airbag, Servicing in Removal and Installation (Driver Knee Airbag).

-- Install driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments and Covers in Removal and Installation .
