ATF Pan, ATF Strainer And MECHATRONIC Overview: Notes

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the transmission.

  • Do not start the engine when there is no ATF in the transmission or if the ATF pan has been removed.
NOTE:

Always replace the Mechatronic unit if it is dirty or faulty.

Clean working conditions for the automatic transmission. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

General repair instructions, refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .

Coat O-rings and seals with ATF. Other types of lubrication lead to faults in the transmission hydraulics.

  2. Seal
    • Removing and installing
  3. ATF Filter
  4. O-ring
    • Replace
  5. Bolt
  6. Mechatronic
  7. O-ring
    • Replace
  8. ATF Oil Pipe
  9. O-ring
    • Replace
  10. Seals
    • Replace
    • Installing into the connector housing -11-
  11. Connector Housing
  12. Bolt
    • 5.5 Nm
  13. Bolt
    • 10 Nm
    • For attaching the transmission output speed sensor -G195- to the transmission housing
  14. Bolt
    • 10 Nm
    • For attaching the Mechatronic connector to the transmission housing
  15. Magnets
    • Make sure the entire surface contacts the ATF filter
    • Clean before installation
  16. Bolt
  17. Oil Drain Plug
