Fuel Delivery Unit And Fuel Level Sensor -G- Overview

- Front Suction Jet Pump
- In left fuel tank chamber
- Removing and installing, refer to SUCTION JET PUMPS
- Retaining Ring
- Welded to fuel tank
- For the fuel delivery unit and the fuel level sensor -G-
- Fuel Level Sensor -G-
- Clipped in at retaining ring -2-
- Check the resistance values. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor -G-, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing, refer to Fuel Level Sensor -G-
- Fuel Delivery Unit
- With Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-
- Is inserted in retaining ring -2- and engaged by turning 15° clockwise (bayonet connection)
- Checking Transfer Fuel Pump -G6- electrically, refer to FUEL PUMP ELECTRICAL, CHECKING
- Checking residual pressure, refer to [For engine(s) BHK] Diagnosis and Testing
- Removing and installing, refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT
- Fill the fuel tank with at least 5 liters of fuel.
- Right Locking Flange
- With the fuel pressure regulator and gravity valve
- Installed position Installing
- Seal
- Replace
- Install dry
- Locking Ring
- Tighten to 110 Nm.
- Use Wrench T10202 for removing and installing
- Electrical Harness Connector
- For transfer fuel pump and fuel level sensor
- Vent Line
- Only on Rest of World vehicles
- Fuel Supply Line
- To engine
- To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
- Clipped in on fuel tank
- Electrical Harness Connector
- For Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-
- Vent Line
- To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
- Locking Ring
- Tighten to 110 Nm.
- Use Wrench T10202 for removing and installing
- Seal
- Replace
- Install dry
- Left Locking Flange
- With gravity valve and fuel filter housing
- Installed position Installing
- Fuel filter, removing and installing, refer to FUEL FILTER OVERVIEW
- Fuel Line
- To the fuel pressure regulator on the right side of the locking flange
- To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
- Fuel Line
- From the fuel delivery unit
- To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
- Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-
- Clipped in at retaining ring -19-
- Check the resistance values. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-, CHECKING
- Removing and installing, refer to Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-
- Retaining Ring
- Welded to fuel tank
- For suction jet pump and fuel level sensor 2
- Rear Suction Jet Pump
- Removing and installing, refer to SUCTION JET PUMPS
-- Tighten bolts -1 through 4- to 9 Nm.
