Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications. Refer to OIL PUMP AND OIL PAN LOWER SECTION OVERVIEW .

NOTE:

Replace the oil baffle bolts.

-- Make sure the 2 dowel sleeves are in the oil pump. If they are not, install them.

-- Install oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill engine oil and check the oil level. Refer to Maintenance Booklet 406.
