EGR Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and the o-rings.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling, refer to Fig 1.

-- Install the intake flap motors. Refer to OVERVIEW - INTAKE MANIFOLD .

-- Install the coolant line, refer to COOLANT PIPES OVERVIEW .

-- Install the turbocharger heat shield and oil supply line, refer to TURBOCHARGER OVERVIEW .

-- Install the oil filter housing. Refer to OIL FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the right upper coolant pipe. Refer to UPPER RIGHT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the upper left coolant pipe. Refer to LEFT UPPER COOLANT PIPE, THROUGH 05.10, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
