Tightening Specifications

Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE .
Refer to Figure.

-- Secure selector lever cable to cable that was guided in during removal.

-- Guide the selector lever cable and rubber grommet -3- through the hole inside the selector mechanism function unit lower section -1-.

CAUTION:

Selector shaft lever must not be bent when pressing selector lever cable on, counterhold if necessary.

-- Carefully press selector lever cable -2- onto selector shaft lever.

-- Secure selector lever cable sleeve to bracket with a new clip -1- on the cable bracket.

-- Install the rubber grommet -arrow- on the around the selector lever cable in the selector mechanism function unit lower section.

-- Install shift mechanism function unit. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM FUNCTION UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Adjusting. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, ADJUSTING .

6-Cylinder Vehicles 3.0L TDI Engine

-- Install the particulate filter. Refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
