Engine Oil Cooler

Removing

-- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER .

-- Remove the nut -1- and slightly turn the upper coolant pipe in direction of -arrow-.

NOTE:

Ignore -2-.

NOTE:

Place a cloth around the oil cooler to catch any leaking oil.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 4- and then remove the oil cooler.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Remove to upper coolant pipe and replace the O-ring to prevent leakage.

-- Install the upper coolant pipe. Refer to UPPER COOLANT PIPE .

-- Install the exhaust gas recirculation cooler. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER .

-- Change engine oil. Refer to Maintenance Procedures .
