Left Intermediate Pipe

Removing

-- Remove the primary catalytic converter. Refer to PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER .

-- Remove the rear coolant pipe. Refer to REAR COOLANT PIPE .

-- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation auxiliary cooler. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION AUXILIARY COOLER .

-- Remove the bolts -3- and -4- and remove the exhaust gas recirculation pipes.

NOTE:

Bolts -1- and -2- were already removed.

-- Remove the air guide hose by loosening the hose clamps -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts and nuts -arrows- and remove the left intermediate pipe.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals, O-rings and the self-locking nuts.

-- Install the air duct hoses and screw-type clamps. Refer to Fig 4.

-- Install the exhaust gas recirculation auxiliary cooler. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION AUXILIARY COOLER .

-- Install the rear coolant pipes. Refer to REAR COOLANT PIPE .

-- Install primary catalytic converter. Refer to PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER .
