Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2

Removing

-- Carefully pull the engine cover -arrows- off the 4 bolts one after the other.

-- Disconnect the -1- exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 -G448- connector.

-- Free up the electrical wire.

NOTE:

Ignore -2, 3 and 4-.

-- Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 -3-.

NOTE:

To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

Ignore -1, 2, 4 and 5-.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt paste.

-- Note installation position:

Dimension -a- = 20 mm between the exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 -2- and the NOX sensor -G295- -1-.
