Catalyst Temperature Sensor 1

Removing

-- Carefully pull the engine cover -arrows- off the 4 bolts one after the other.

-- Disconnect the -1- catalyst temperature sensor 1 -G20- orange connector and the -2- exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 -G495- brown connector.

-- Remove catalyst temperature sensor 1 -2-.

NOTE:

To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

Ignore -1, 3, 4 and 5-.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt paste.

-- Note installation position:

Dimension -a- = 25 mm between the catalyst temperature sensor 1 -1- and the fuel lines -2-.
