In order to be able to securely mount the air guide hoses on their connectors, spray the screws on the previously used clamps with a rust remover.
Tightening specification for
- Clamp -a- = 13 mm wide: 5.5 Nm
- Clamp -b- = 9 mm wide: 3 Nm
-- Release the retaining tab -A- on the connector coupling by pulling the securing clip -arrow-.
-- Remove the air guide hose without using any tools.
Replace the O-ring for the air duct pipe and connector coupling if damaged.
Make sure the O-ring fits all the way around inside the groove on the air duct pipe.
Coat the sealing surface and the O-ring with a silicone-free lubricant.
-- Pull the clip into the release position -1-.
-- Install the air guide hose all the way and press the clamp into its locking position -2-.
-- Press the air guide hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
