Vibration Damper

Removing

Ribbed belt removed, refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Remove center noise insulation fasteners -1 through 4-.

-- Remove the right noise insulation -arrows-.

-- Remove vibration damper.

NOTE:

To loosen and tighten vibration damper, counterhold at centering bolt with open end wrench.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to RIBBED BELT AND ASSEMBLY BRACKET OVERVIEW

-- Install vibration damper using only original equipment bolts.

Only possible to install in one position: The vibration damper crankshaft hole -arrow- must be positioned over the protrusion on the toothed belt sprocket.
