AWD Control Module
NOTE:
All Wheel Drive (AWD) control module -J492- locations -item 1- ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND COMPONENT LOCATIONS => List Item:All Wheel Drive (AWD) Control Module -J492-.
The description for removing and installing is based on the Audi A4 Sedan.
- Turn off the ignition.
-- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.
-- Remove the cover and vehicle tools bracket.
-- Unclip the AWD control module -A- from its mount -C-.

-- Disconnect the connector -B- from the AWD control module.
-- Install the AWD control module in reverse order of removal.
- Additional work will be necessary if the AWD control module was replaced. Refer to AWD CONTROL MODULE, ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING .
