Bumper Cover, Adjusting
Procedure
- Gap dimensions, refer to BUMPER COVER GAP DIMENSION .
Tightening Specifications
- Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .
Height Adjustment:
-- Loosen the bolts -arrows-.
-- Adjust the height of the spacer -1-.
-- Install the bumper cover and check the gap dimension again. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
-- Tighten the bolts.
NOTE:
Ignore item -2-.
The spacer is shown on a vehicle through MY 2013.
Adjusting Side to Side and Front to Back:
-- Remove the lock carrier cover, refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen the bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Adjust the front bumper cover -3- side to side and back and forth to match the markings -arrow-.
-- Tighten the bolts.
-- Check the gap dimension again and repeat the adjustment if necessary.
