Hydraulic System, Filling And Bleeding: Filling

WARNING:
The hydraulic system is under pressure, which can cause serious personal injury.
- The hydraulic pressure within the system must be released before starting any work on the convertible top system. Refer to HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
-- With the ignition switched off, press the Power Top Operation Switch -E137- -1- for approximately five seconds.

- The pressure in the hydraulic system will come down.
-- Remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to .
-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 5- from the bracket.
-- Remove the nut -1- and bolt -6- and then remove the bracket -4-.
-- Remove the hydraulic pump and the adhesive strips -3 and 4-.
-- Remove the upper section of noise insulation -2-.
NOTE:
Ignore item -1-.
-- Remove the locking bolt -arrow-.
-- Fill with hydraulic fluid up to the middle line. Hydraulic fluid. Refer to the Parts Information.
