Overview - Release Cable

- Right Hood Latch
- Removing and installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - HOOD, LATCH .
- Latch Release Cable
- Removing
-- Disconnect the release cable at the coupling. Refer to RELEASE CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING - Release Cable Coupling.
-- Pull the release cable through to the engine compartment.
- Installing: in reverse order of removal
- Adjust the latch point of release. Refer to RELEASE CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Left Hood Latch
- Operating Lever
- Disengage the release cable RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Cable Coupling
-- Disengage the release cable inside the vehicle interior before removing the lock carrier and when removing the operating lever.
- Release Lever Release Cable
- Release cable to the operating lever in the vehicle interior.
- Grommet
- Make sure it fits correctly when installing it. The grommet must be pushed all the way into the bulkhead.
