1. Crankshaft Shaft Seal, Transmission Side
   • Replacing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
2. Timing Chain Cover Lower Section
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Alignment Sleeve
   • Quantity: 2
4. Bolt
   • Replace
   • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 3.
5. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
6. Cover
7. O-Ring
   • Replace
8. Bolt
   • Replace
   • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 3.
9. Left Timing Chain Cover
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LEFT TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
10. Seal
    • Replace
11. Bolt
    • Replace
    • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 4.
12. Bolt
    • Tightening specification: 9 Nm. .
13. Vacuum Pump
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to VACUUM PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L TDI ENGINE .
14. O-Rings
    • Replace
15. Right Timing Chain Cover
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to RIGHT TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
16. Seal
    • Replace
17. Bolt
    • Replace
    • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 4.
18. Alignment Sleeve
    • Quantity: 2
19. Seal
    • Quantity: 2
20. Bolt
    • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 5.

3. Crankshaft Shaft Seal, Transmission Side
   • Replacing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
4. Timing Chain Cover Lower Section
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Alignment Sleeve
   • Quantity: 2

   • Replace
   • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 3.
7. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
