- Mark fuel injector and high pressure lines with paint to each other and to the cylinder for reinstallation, when installing pay attention to the markings.
- Replace the copper ring seal during every assembly/disassembly procedure.
- To remove rust particles on the fuel injector sealing surface, clean the fuel injector shaft in the cylinder head using the Cleaning SetVAS6811 (always clean in the event of leaks).
- Removing and installing. Refer to PIEZOELECTRIC FUEL INJECTORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- High-Pressure Lines
- Pay attention to cleanliness
- Do not change the shape of the line
- Removing and installing. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, INSTALLING .
- Fuel Rail
- The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- is bolted into the cylinder bank 1 fuel rail.
- The Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- is bolted into the cylinder bank 2 fuel rail.

- Replace
- Banjo Bolt
- 25 Nm
- Distribution Piece
- High Pressure Line
- 25 Nm
- From the high pressure pump
- Pay attention to cleanliness
- Do not change the shape of the line
- High Pressure Line
- 25 Nm
- From the opposite fuel rail
- Pay attention to cleanliness
- Do not change the shape of the line

- Fuel Return Lines
- Do not disassemble the fuel return lines. Replace them completely with the pressure retention valve.
- Bleed the fuel system after replacing. Refer to FUEL TANK, FILLING WITH FUEL AFTER INSTALLING HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
