ATF Pipes And ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Install the ATF pipes for the ATF cooler with clamping connections. Refer to ATF PIPES FOR ATF COOLER WITH CLAMPING CONNECTIONS .

-- Replace the O-rings and coat them with ATF.

-- Remove the plug and insert the ATF pipes all the way into the transmission.

-- Tighten the bolts -1, 2 and 3-.

NOTE:

Depending on the date of manufacture, the ATF pre-heater and the bolts -2- are not attached to the top of the transmission.

-- Tighten the screw on the ATF pipe bracket to the right side of the engine.

-- Install the condenser -1- and ATF cooler -2-.

-- Install the clips -arrow-.

-- Remove the plugs, insert the ATF pipes all the way into the thermostat -2- and then tighten the bolt -1-. Refer to.

-- ATF level, checking and filling. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING AND FILLING .

-- Check the ATF pipe connections for leaks while checking the ATF level.

-- Install the lock carrier. Refer to LOCK CARRIER WITH ATTACHMENTS OVERVIEW .

-- Install the front bumper. Refer to FRONT BUMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
