Overview - Reducing Agent Active Tank And Attachments

NOTE:
Installed location: under the wheel housing liner in right rear wheel housing
- Union Nut
- Remove and install with Wrench - Union NutT50014
- Tightening. Refer to Installing .
- Heating Reservoir
- With Reducing Agent Tank Sensor -G684-
- With Reducing Agent Temperature Sensor -G685-
- With Reducing Agent Tank Heater (Heating Circuit 1) -Z102-
- With filterCAUTION:
When tightening the union nuts the heating reservoir must not turn.
The installation position of the hearing reservoir must not be turned.
- Removing and installing. Refer to HEATING RESERVOIR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not bend the heat mats when installing them
- Seal
- Replace
- Install dry

- 9 Nm
- Active Tank
- For the reducing agent
- Removing and installing. Refer to REDUCING AGENT ACTIVE TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Transfer Line
- From the Reducing Agent Transfer Pump -V436- to the active tank
- Clipped in on fuel tank
- Reducing Agent Tank Cap Switch -F502-
- Installation position and tightening specification. Refer to Fig 4.
- Installed depending on the market.
- Removing and installing. Refer to Reducing Agent Tank Cap Switch -F502-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Reducing Agent Pump -V437-
- With Reducing Agent Pump Heater (Heating Circuit 2) -Z103-
- With Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Reducing Agent Pump -V437-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .WARNING:
Danger due to reducing agent leaking out.
- To prevent large amounts of reducing agent from leaking out when opening the metering line, wait for the recirculation process to complete. Refer to SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION (SCR) SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Removing and installing the Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686-. Refer to Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Tightening specification for the Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686- version 1. Refer to Fig 2.
- Tightening specification for the Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686- version 2. Refer to Fig 3.
- Metering Line
- From the Reducing Agent Pump -V437- to the Reducing Agent Injector -N474-
- Clipped in on fuel tankWARNING:

- Clip onto the active tank

- Clip onto the active tank
-- Tighten the Reducing Agent Metering System Pressure Sensor -G686- -2- to 8 Nm.
-- Tighten the bolts -2 and 4- to 1.5 Nm.
-- Slide the Reducing Agent Tank Cap Switch -F502-, as shown in the illustration, onto the active tank all the way until it stops -arrow-.
-- Tighten the bolt -1- to 0.6 Nm.
