High/Low Beam Switch-Over Control Circuit Board, Removing And Installing

Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

-- Turn the headlamp switch to "0".

-- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery ground (GND) wire, refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release locking slide -2- in direction of -arrow- and remove housing cover -1- from headlamp housing.

-- Release retaining spring -3- in direction of -arrow- and remove printed circuit board -1- for low/high beam switch-over control from headlamp housing.

-- Disconnect electrical connector -2-.

-- Remove low/high beam switch-over control printed circuit board from headlamp housing.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Close the housing lid.

-- Press the housing cover on the headlamp housing and secure the housing cover with the lock washer. Pay attention that all four tabs engage securely.

-- Install the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
