Selector mechanism cover, removing and installing

Removing 

• Remove selector lever handle → Selector lever handle, removing and installing .

• Remove front ashtray insert - 1  - by pressing knob - arrow  -.

• Remove bolt - arrow  - and front ashtray housing.
• Disconnect electrical connector.

• Pull center console switch trim up - arrows  - and off.
• Disconnect electrical connector.

• Release retaining hooks - 1  - on both side of shift mechanism - arrow  - and raise cover - 3  - up.
• Disconnect electrical connector - 2  - and remove cover.

Installing 

Installation in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Install front ashtray → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
• Install selector lever handle → Selector lever handle, removing and installing .
