1 - 23 Nm

• Replace

2 - Exhaust manifold with catalytic converter

• Front left
• Removing and installing → Right exhaust manifold with catalytic converters, removing and installing 
• Protect from shocks and impact stress
• Individual components of suspension Individual mounting components for exhaust manifold with catalytic converters 

3 - Gasket

• Replace

4 - Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, 55 Nm

• Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body
• When re-using old oxygen sensor, grease threads with hot bolt paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body0
• Removing and installing → 24 FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

5 - Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter, 55 Nm

• Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body
• When re-using old oxygen sensor, grease threads with hot bolt paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body.
• Removing and installing → 24 FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

6 - Exhaust manifold with catalytic converters

• Rear left
• Removing and installing → Left exhaust manifold with catalytic converters, removing and installing 
• Protect from shocks and impact stress
• Individual components of suspension Individual mounting components for exhaust manifold with catalytic converters 

7 - Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, 55 Nm

• Threads of new oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body
• When re-using the old oxygen sensor, grease threads with hot bolt paste; paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body.
• Removing and installing → 24 FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

9 - 25 Nm

• Replace

10 - Front clamping sleeve

• Before tightening, ensure exhaust system is tension-free → Exhaust system, installing free of tension 
• Installation position of bolt ends Installed position of front double clamps 
• Fasten threaded fasteners uniformly, while pushing center muffler exhaust pipe upward slightly

11 - 23 Nm

12 - Front muffler

• With decoupling elements
• Decoupling elements must not be bent more than 10° risk of damage
• Left front muffler, removing, installing and aligning → Left front muffler, removing and installing 
• Right front muffler, removing, installing and aligning → Right front muffler, removing and installing

13 - Gasket
