D-Pillar Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the roof panel trim. Refer to ROOF PANEL TRIM OVERVIEW .

-- Then remove the luggage compartment side trim. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL OVERVIEW .

-- Unclip the cover cap with the airbag symbol and remove the D-pillar trim screws.

NOTE:

The cover cap hangs from the D-pillar trim and cannot be removed.

-- Remove the D-pillar trim from the mounts in the body.

Vehicles with a Seat Belt on the D-Pillar

-- Remove belt extraction panel. Refer to BELT EXTRACTION PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Guide the seat belt through the D-pillar trim opening.
