Connector Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

Follow the safety precautions for the rollover protection. Refer to ROLLOVER PROTECTION .

-- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Remove the side cushion. Refer to SIDE CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR .

-- Remove the expanding clip for the luggage compartment side trim panel on the rollover protection, and pull the side trim panel in the connector bracket area slightly to the side.

-- Press the release -arrow- and disconnect the connector -1-

-- Release the hooks -4-, pull out the connector and remove the connector coupling -2- on the bracket.

-- Release the hooks on the bracket -1- with a small screwdriver at the pins -3- one after the other -arrow-.

-- At the same time, push the connector bracket forward using the :3409 to prevent the hooks from getting hooked in again.

-- Do this at all six hooks and then remove the connector bracket.
