E-Box in left plenum chamber, removing and installing

Removing 

• Remove wiper arms → Wiper arms, removing and installing .
• With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire → Battery, disconnecting and connecting .
• Remove rubber seal - 1  - for plenum chamber cover.
• Remove plenum chamber cover - 2  -.

• Remove bolts - arrows  - for cowl grille - 1  - at left and right.
• Carefully pull cowl grille off locking mechanism on windshield.

• Remove bolts - arrows  -.
• Remove E-Box cover in left plenum chamber.

• Unscrew bolts - arrows  - and remove wiper frame completely.
• Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1  -.

• Release locking mechanisms - arrows  - and pull fuse holder - 1  - and secondary relay carrier - 2  - upward in E box left plenum chamber.

• Disconnect electrical multi-pin harness connectors - 1 5  -.
• Remove nut - arrow  - at B+ wire.

• Remove hood release cable at opening lever → 55 - HOOD, LIDS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
• Disengage engine wiring harness - 4  - at E box left plenum chamber - 1  -.
• Press cup seal - 2  - out of E box left plenum chamber and guide engine wiring harness out through opening.
• Remove nuts - arrows  - and pull E box left plenum chamber off upward.

• Guide cable - 3  - for hood out of E box left plenum chamber.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• When attaching cover for E box left plenum chamber, make sure cover is engaged correctly in mounts and no electrical wires are jammed.
• Connect battery. Required actions Battery, disconnecting and connecting .
• Adjust wiper arms → Wiper arms, adjusting .
• Install hood release cable at opening lever → → 55 - HOOD, LIDS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
