1 - Tray trim

• Only on instrument panel center section for "Chorus" and "Concert" radios

2 - Ashtray trim

3 - Front ashtray

• Removing 

• Manual transmission: Pry gear cover upward and remove → Gear cover and boot, assembly overview .
• Automatic transmission: Pry gear cover off upward → Gear cover and boot, assembly overview .
• For vehicles with air conditioner and "Symphony" radio/on-screen navigation system: Remove A/C Control Head E87 for air conditioner. → 87 AIR CONDITIONING
• Remove two bolts - 4  - from ashtray.

• Unclip tray trim - 1  -.
• Remove ashtray - 3  -.
• Disengage trim - 2  - from ashtray - 3  -.

4 - Bolts (2x)

• Tightening torque 3.5 Nm
