- Removal REAR LID GAS-FILLED STRUT .

Adjusting Buffer
Pop Rivet Nut
- Riveted into body.
- When installing, pop rivet nut must sit flat.
Rear Lid
- Removing
- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation
- Disconnect or pull off electrical harness connectors and hose for rear window washer system.
- Remove gas-filled strut.
- Second person is required to support and lift lid.
- Remove bolts on lid hinge REAR LID HINGE .
- Remove rear lid.
