Work procedure 

CAUTION: Contact corrosion! Notes → Contact corrosion! .
NOTE:
  • All cable ties that are opened or cut open during removal must be replaced in the same positions during installation.
CAUTION: Observe procedures for disconnecting battery → 27 - BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL .

NOTE:
  • The pin 3282/50 has one flattened side - arrow  -. When inserting into transmission, the flattened side must face toward the oil pan.
  • The arrow symbol on the adjusting plate 3282/52 points in the direction of travel.

CAUTION:
  • The flattened side of the pin must face toward transmission oil pan, so that it does not bend or become damaged.
  • If the transmission oil pan is damaged, it must be replaced.
