Selector mechanism cover, removing and installing

Removing

Remove selector lever handle → Selector lever handle, removing and installing .

Remove front ashtray insert - 1 - by pressing knob - arrow -.

Remove bolt - arrow - and front ashtray housing.
Disconnect electrical connector.

Pull center console switch trim - arrows - up and off.
Disconnect electrical connector.

Release retaining hooks - 1 - on both sides of shift mechanism - arrow - and raise cover - 3 - up.
Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - and remove cover.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Install front ashtray → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
Install selector lever handle → Selector lever handle, removing and installing .
