Central Locking System On Board Diagnostic (OBD), initiating: Conditions:

• Voltage supply as well as fuses for the respective system are OK

  See the appropriate System Wiring Diagrams article

• V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool connected, see V.A.G 1551 SCAN TOOL, CONNECTING  .

Indicated on display:

• Enter "35" for address word "Central locking" and confirm entry with Q key.

• Wait until the next display appears.

The display on the scan tool V.A.G 1551 will show the control module identification code (example).
