Adaptation channel 60-Adaptation for powertrain data-BUS
Display on VAS 5051:
- Select function "60" in button field -2- for "Adaptation channel 60" and press Q button to confirm input.
Display on VAS 5051:
- Channel 60
- read and test
- No indication
- Keypad - only direct input via the keypad is possible
- The sliding bar is positioned on the current adaptation value
NOTE:
- The adaptation values of the table must be entered. See ADAPTATION VALUES .
- When replacing instrument cluster, observe. See Input values for replacing instrument cluster .
Installed control modules (addition of corresponding adaptation values) that participate in the A6 powertrain data BUS are added (See measuring value block. See Measuring value block 125 and Measuring value block 126 ).
NOTE:
The instrument cluster, which supports CAN, is not indicated in the measuring value block, but must be added anyway.

Example: A6 with manual transmission
- Engine + Instrument cluster = 1 + 1024 = 1025
Example: A6 with automatic transmission
- Engine + Transmission + Instrument cluster = 1 + 2 + 1024 = 1027
Example: allroad quattro with automatic transmission
- Engine + Transmission + Instrument cluster + Self leveling suspension = 1 + 2 + 1024 + 2048 = 3075
- Change adaptation value via direct input. See B - Change adaptation value via direct input: .
- Enter 5-digit adaptation value. Insert zeros in front.
Example:
Desired input value: 1025 for A6 manual transmission
Keypad input: 01025
Display on VAS 5051 after performed adaptation:
- Channel 60 Value 1025 stored
- End function "10 - Adaptation" by pressing <= button.
