Control module, removing and installing

NOTE:

The control module for power seat with memory is located beneath the drivers seat.
With malfunctioning control module, the upper frame of seat pan with backrest must be removed → Front seat with malfunctioning motor for seat fore-aft adjustment or malfunctioning control module, removing .

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing

Remove seat → Front power seats with memory, removing and installing .
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.

Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal.
