Four-way lumbar support, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required 

• Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095

• Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136

• Removal:

• Remove seat → Front power seats with memory, removing and installing .
• Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
• Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
• Remove backrest cover panel → Backrest cover, removing and installing .

• Disengage bracket - 6  - at bottom on left and right sides from backrest frame - 7  -.
• Disengage four-way lumbar support - 3  - at top on left and right sides from brackets - 9  - (Qty. 2).
• Disengage release for four-way lumbar adjustment - 8  - at hook - 1  -.
• Disengage four-way lumbar support height adjustment release - 2  - at retaining pin - 4  - and at idler pulley - 5  -.

• Remove four-way lumbar support - 3  -.

• Installing: 

Installation is reverse of removal.
