Electrical height adjuster on seats with upper part of seat laser-welded to seat rail (new version), replacing

NOTE:

New shoulder pin, nut and plastic toothed segment are included in delivery.
New microencapsulated bolts to secure the sail to the height adjuster gearing are included in delivery.

Move seat as far to front as possible.
Remove side trim on sill side → Side trim (sill side), removing and installing .
Loosen shoulder pin, nut and gear lever at height adjuster gearing.
Remove shoulder pin.

Remove both microencapsulated bolts at sail to height adjuster gearing.
Fold seat fully toward front.
Remove height adjuster gearing.
If damaged, replace white plastic toothed segment.

Clean threaded holes on height adjuster gearing.
Installation of the height adjuster gearing is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:

Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter).
