1 - Retaining clamp

3 - Seat height adjustment unit

Removing

Remove seat → Seat, removing and installing .
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
Remove backrest and front seat pan → Front seat backrest and seat pan, removing and installing .

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal. When doing so, note the following:

Make sure that the retaining plate - 6 - makes contact on backrest frame at - position of arrow -.
