Adapting Service Reminder Indicator (SRI), oil change service interval (distance in km)
This function is used to adapt the distance in kilometers until the next oil change service is due.
Indicated on display
- Press buttons -1- and -0- to select "Adaptation" function 10.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
Indicated on display
- Press buttons -0- and -5- to insert channel number 05.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.
Indicated on display
The display will show the number of kilometers remaining before the next oil change service is due. In this example, "1" = 1000 km.
NOTE:
- Values can only be entered in increments of 1000 km. Therefore, the distance is indicated in units of 1000 km.
- Even in countries where the speedometers are calibrated in miles, adaptation must be done in metric units. Convert the required distance interval from miles to kilometers to get the required adaptation value.
- Conversion of miles to kilometers: miles x 1.609 = km.
- Kilometers are displayed in "Read Measuring Value Block" function 08, display groups 002 and 050.

- Only direct input of the values is possible using the VAG1551 scan tool.
- If an incorrect value is input "Adaptation" function 10 is ended and must be initiated again.
- Press --> button.

- Input required value using keypad on VAG1551 scan tool, filling in initial spaces with "0."

Specification: 15000 km
- Input "00015" using keypad.
