Adapting Service Reminder Indicator (SRI), after replacing instrument cluster (time remaining until next inspection service)
This function is used to adapt the number of days remaining until the next inspection service is due, after replacing the instrument cluster.

- Press buttons -1- and -0- to select "Adaptation" function 10.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

- Press buttons -1 - and -2- to select channel number 12.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

The display will show the number of days remaining before the next inspection service is due. In this example, "11" = 110 days.
NOTE:
- Values can only be input in increments of 10 days. Therefore, the time is indicated in units of 10 days.
- The value entered is then counted backwards to 0 days.
- Notes regarding replacement of the instrument cluster. See REPLACEMENT OF INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, INPUT VALUES .
- Only direct input of the values is possible using the VAG1551 scan tool.
- If an incorrect value is input "Adaptation" function 10 is ended and must be initiated again.
- Press --> button.

- Input required value using keypad on VAG1551 scan tool, filling in initial spaces with "0."
Example:
Remaining time: 110 days
- Input "00011" using keypad.
