Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, erasing (scan tool function 05): Requirements:

• DTC memory was checked. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 02) .
• All malfunctions have been corrected.

After checking DTC memory:

Indicated on display:

• Press buttons 0 and 5. With 05 the function "Erase DTC memory" is selected.

• Press Q button to confirm input.

  Indicated on display:

  With this the DTC memory is erased.

• Press --> button.
